My introduction to Goldens began in 1984 when we purchased our first Golden as a family pet for my daughter.  We started going to obedience with him and got persuaded by people at our obedience club to enter a couple of shows and you could say from that point on this breed changed our lives forever.

Through a friend, Shirley Sullivan, who over the years has been a wonderful and dear friend and is Patroness of the Golden Retriever Club who taught me many finer points about showing Goldens with her influcence we purchased our first show Golden girl from Sydney, "Leegolden Valley Fern".

About 18 months later another beautiful dog with a heart of gold came into our lives "Clangold Shine Bright" known as "Stella".  Stella's pedigree stands behind most of my dogs today.  That was the start of our kennels at which time we lived in Nambour. 

Some of our dogs who have done well in the past "Ch Impressa Beammeup Scotty" winning Best of Breed and Runner up Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal.  "Ch. Impressa Your the One" winning Bitch Challenge and Runner up Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal twice and Bitch Challenge and Opposite Sex at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Show 2003;  and "Ch Impressa Its Jesta Dream" winning Best in Show at the Golden Retriver Club Championship Show of Queensland in 2007.

In 2002 we moved to our present acreage property located at the foothills of the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains.  We bought this property especially to set up our kennels.   The dogs have their own big spacious kennels with free access to and from big grassed exercise yards.  Since 2004 I have carried on alone breeding and showing this beautiful breed that stole my heart.  Over the years I have made lasting friendships through other people having the same interest in the breed and many friends through people that have purchased puppies from me.  A dear friend sent me a email just recently saying, "You breed truly beautiful Goldies.....good looks and so good natured."

My dogs today are mainly linked to my top brood bitch "Aust Ch. Impressa Dreamwheeler", a real lady, she went on to be mated with one of the top sires in Australia at the time, "Tasvane Indianna".  Some of her progency has been mated with a very influential sire owned by a good friend of mine Melanie Rennie "Aust Gr Ch. & NZ Ch Winterlea Son of a Kiwi E.T. (Imp NZ) known as Lucas who goes back on some of the great Stanroph lines.  The combination is producing some of my beautiful Goldens today.
